Let me also take this opportunity to publicize the very under-appreciated PHILIPPINE MADRIGAL SINGERS, which is now considered as THE WORLD’S BEST CHOIR. These singers were all UP students, and gosh, beware being skinned alive once you hear them sing. So far, they are the only choir in the whole world to have won two European Grand Prix for Choral Singing, the world’s most prestigious choral competition and the de-facto world choir championships. They literally have lots of very hair-raising performances (just check them out on Youtube), and I’m going to post some here:
